Range and charging
The Curvv.ev's 55 kWh battery gives it 502 km of certified range against the Nexon.ev 45's 489 km. Both reach 80% from 10% in about 40 minutes on a DC fast charger. At home, a 7.2 kW AC wall box fills the Nexon.ev in 6 h 36 min and the Curvv.ev in 7.6 h, so either is full by morning when charged overnight. Real-world range depends on speed, load, air-conditioning and weather.
Both cars support vehicle-to-load (V2L), so you can power appliances from the battery, and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging. The Curvv.ev's V2L delivers up to 3.3 kVA.
Features and safety
The Nexon.ev carries a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, six airbags, a 360° camera and ESP. The Curvv.ev adds Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and blind spot detection.
Battery warranty
Both are covered by Tata.ev's lifetime HV battery warranty, which Tata.ev defines as 15 years from first registration for eligible private owners. Read how the warranty works.
